In my third year at Grand Valley University, I studied Public Relations Management and Cases, with one of our semester
focuses being Crisis Communications. In this group crisis campaign, we focused on Southwest Airlines and their issues that occurred during the Christmas season in 2022. While working on this campaign, I realized that I enjoyed problem-solving different crises. It was interesting to break down how Southwest handled the situation,
versus what they should have done, and what they could do differently to prepare for the next holiday season.
